Recently, the 3rd Shanghai Audiovisual Showcase in the UK & Shanghai-London Screen Industry Forum was held at the headquarters of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). This year's forum featured opening remarks, keynote speeches, project presentations, and roundtable discussions. It highlighted China–British co-produced TV series and outstanding Chinese film and TV projects, including documentaries, animations, Chinese-style animations and dramas, as well as TV series depicting urban life and stories.

China–Vietnam Symphony Concert Stages a Wonderful Performance in Ho Chi Minh City

为庆祝中越建交75周年暨"中越人文交流年"，持续赓续中越传统友谊，促进中越两国人民相知相亲，以艺术为经纬，织就中越人文交流壮美画卷，近日，在河内中国文化中心支持下，由中越两国艺术家联袂呈现的中越交响音乐会《友谊长青》在越南胡志明市精彩上演。

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam and the China–Vietnam Year of People-to-People Exchanges, and to carry forward traditional friendship while bringing the peoples of both countries closer, the China–Vietnam symphony concert Everlasting Friendship was splendidly staged in Ho Chi Minh City. Supported by China Cultural Center in Hanoi, the concert was jointly presented by artists from both countries, weaving a magnificent chapter of China–Vietnam cultural exchange through the medium of art.

近日，马德里中国文化中心举办了一场别具特色的"黏土玫瑰花"手工体验活动，特别邀请了陕西籍工艺美术师、关中泥塑非遗传承人任远鸿担任指导老师。在任老师的耐心指导下，10位幸运参与者用超轻树脂黏土精心制作了属于自己的"永生玫瑰"。马德里中国文化中心将继续充分利用资源，举办各类活动，让更多西班牙民众走进中心，体验中华文化的无穷魅力。

Recently, China Cultural Center in Madrid hosted a unique 'Clay Rose' handicraft workshop, inviting Ren Yuanhong—an arts and crafts artist from Shaanxi and an inheritor of Guanzhong clay sculpture Intangible Cultural Heritage—to serve as instructor. Under Ren's patient guidance, ten lucky participants used ultra-light resin clay to carefully craft their own 'everlasting roses.' China Cultural Center in Madrid will continue to make full use of its resources to organize various activities, enabling more Spaniards to enter the Center and experience the endless charm of Chinese culture.

近日，由毛里求斯华商总会主办的唐人街美食与文化节在路易港唐人街盛大开幕，吸引了毛里求斯各界人士的热情参与。应主办方邀请，毛里求斯中国文化中心舞蹈队为观众呈现了新疆舞《铃鼓舞》、古典舞《望月》和蒙古舞《走马舞》等中国民族舞蹈。三种舞蹈风格迥异、交相辉映，展示出中华文化的多姿多彩和深厚底蕴，赢得观众阵阵掌声。

Recently, the Chinatown Food and Culture Festival,hosted by the Chinese Business Chamber of Mauritius,grandly opened in Port Louis’s Chinatown,attracting enthusiastic participation from all sectors of Mauritian society.At the invitation of the organizers,the dance troupe of China Cultural Center in Mauritius performed several Chinese ethnic dances for the audience, including the Xinjiang dance Tambourine Dance,the classical dance Moon Gazing, and the Mongolian dance Horse Galloping Dance.The three dances,each with its distinct style yet complementing one another,showcased the rich diversity and profound heritage of Chinese culture,earning rounds of applause from the audience.

2026年1月15日，中国曲艺丝路欢歌专场演出在开罗歌剧院举办，埃及各界民众、旅埃华侨300余人出席观演，由此拉开2026埃及"欢乐春节"系列活动序幕。

演出由中国曲艺家协会艺术团呈现，内容涵盖中国南北多地代表性曲种及经典曲目。从节奏明快的快板《花唱绕口令》，到热烈奔放的东北二人转和高亢嘹亮的唢呐独奏《倍儿爽》，从粗犷豪迈的蒙古族乌力格尔《江格尔》到韵味悠长的绍兴莲花落《百善孝为先》，从令人捧腹的幽默小品《小鸟与蜜蜂》到妙趣横生的相声《艺术漫谈》《乐在其中》，一连串精彩节目汇聚成一幅生动的中国人文风情画卷，让观众在欣赏艺术之美的同时，深入感知中国文化的多样性与深厚底蕴，真切感受到中埃两国跨越时空的友好情谊，现场沉浸在一片欢声笑语、其乐融融的喜庆氛围中。

On January 15, 2026, a special performance of China Quyi on the Silk Road was held at Cairo Opera House, with the attendance of over 300 people from all walks of life in Egypt and overseas Chinese in Egypt, which marked the beginning of the 2026 “Happy Chinese New Year” series of events in Egypt.

2026 China-Uzbekistan Children's New Year Gala Held in Uzbekistan

近日，中国驻乌兹别克斯坦大使馆与塔什干孔子学院联合举办"丝路琴韵——2026中乌少儿新春联欢会"。来自中乌两国的260余名少儿及家长、老师欢聚一堂，在丰富多彩的文化体验和精彩纷呈的节目表演中共迎新年。

活动开始前，使馆特别设置了中国传统文化体验环节，孩子们亲手绘制京剧脸谱、描画扇面、协作完成中国传统故事拼图，并动手制作节日彩灯，孩子们在动手实践中沉浸式感受中国文化的魅力。联欢会围绕迎新年主题，安排了文艺演出与互动体验，现场气氛热烈而愉悦。活动伊始播放了中乌少儿友好交流短片，随后两国儿童表演了诗朗诵、合唱、民族乐器演奏和舞蹈等节目。乌兹别克斯坦国家木偶剧院带来的专业表演深受孩子们喜爱。活动还安排了趣味互动游戏，让两国儿童在协作中增进了解、建立友谊。

Recently, the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan and the Confucius Institute in Tashkent jointly held 'Silk Road Melody - 2026 China-Uzbekistan Children's New Year Gala'. More than 260 people, including the children as well as their parents and teachers from China and Uzbekistan gathered together to welcome the New Year amid rich and colorful cultural experiences and wonderful performances.

Before the official start of the event, the embassy specially set up a session for experiencing the Chinese traditional culture. The children personally painted Peking Opera masks, decorated fan surfaces, collaborated to complete traditional Chinese story puzzles, and made festival lanterns by hand. Through hands-on practice, the children had themselves immersed in the charm of the Chinese culture. The gala, centered on the theme of welcoming the New Year, featured artistic performances and interactive experiences, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The event began with a short film presenting friendly exchanges between the Chinese and Uzbek children. 美国青年走访广州唱响《朋友》

The U.S. Youth Visiting Guangzhou and Singing 'Friends'

日前，美国One Voice合唱团访问广州，展开为期两天的文化交流与演出活动。此次活动是"全球青年看广州"系列活动之一，也是广州市落实"5年5万"倡议的实践，由广州市人民政府外事办公室、广州市青年联合会共同组织。

美国One Voice合唱团成员登上广州城市地标——广州塔，与广州的青少年一起唱响经典歌曲《朋友》。当晚，合唱团团员们夜游珠江。游船之上，《朋友》的歌声再次响起，优美动人的旋律伴随着江水缓缓流淌。

随后，合唱团又走进荔湾区少年宫，领略粤剧表演、金箔漆扇及毛笔书法等传统文化体验活动，近距离感受中华优秀传统文化的独特魅力。晚上，他们来到中山纪念堂，与荔湾区少年宫的青少年一起，为广州市民献上音乐表演，用歌声传递祝福与喜悦。其间，中美青少年携手演绎原创歌曲《We Are Together》。合唱团成员Cody表示，这首由合唱团成员参与创作的歌曲，是"献给中国人民的一份礼物"。成员Tucker表示："它传递了一个重要的信息——人们应当勇于与不同文化背景的人交流，成为朋友。"

Recently, One Voice Chorus of the U.S. visited Guangzhou for a two-day cultural exchanges and performance, as a part of the 'Global Youth Explore Guangzhou' series of events, as well as a practice of Guangzhou's implementation of the '50,000 in 5 Years' initiative. It was jointly organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and Guangzhou Youth Federation.

Members of One Voice Chorus climbed to the top of Guangzhou's landmark, Canton Tower, and sang the classic song Friends together with local young people. That evening, the chorus members took a night cruise along Zhujiang River. On the cruise ship, the song Friends was sung again, with its beautiful and moving melody lingering along the river.

Later, the chorus entered the Liwan District Children's Palace, where they experienced traditional cultural activities such as Cantonese opera performances, gold foil lacquer fans, and the Chinese brush calligraphy, closely touching the unique charm of the Chinese traditional culture. In the evening, they came to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and together with the teenagers from Liwan District Children's Palace, presented a musical performance to the citizens of Guangzhou, conveying blessings and joy through their singing. During the performance, the Chinese and the U.S. youths jointly performed the original song We Are Together. Cody, a member of the chorus, said that this song, which was co-created by the chorus members, was 'a gift to the Chinese people'. Tucker, another member, said, 'It conveys an important message – the people should be brave enough to communicate with those from different cultural backgrounds and become friends.'

Ames, a sinologist of the U.S. nationality and a chair professor of humanities from the Department of Philosophy of Peking University, has lived a life that echoes Confucius' teachings of "starting with poetry, emphasizing etiquette and achieving through music". In his youth, he was fascinated by poetry, and became interested in the Oriental philosophy when he traveled to Hong Kong to seek creative experiences. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the study of the Chinese philosophy for decades. In his view, Confucianism is not an ancient dogma, but rather offers a "flexible and open intelligence" for the era of digital intelligence. While there is much discussion about artificial intelligence, he proposes that more attention should be paid to "natural intelligence" and to thinking about balancing technology, human values and the natural environment.
